Just a quick heads up. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently issued a recall notice for immediate release on one of my favorite raw nut butters:
Premier Organics of Berkeley, CA is recalling 840 Cases of Artisana Raw Tahini of Lot 90811, in 16oz glass jars because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious infections.
Heck, if it weren’t for the Six-Week Plan — during which I consumed no nut butters whatsoever — I’d likely have a jar of this in my house right now! So, please do check the lot # on yours and stay safe.
