Just a quick lunchtime post. In the next one, later today or tomorrow, I’ll share about my sister’s recent visit.
The documentary, once called Raw For 30 Days, is now available, under a new title, Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes In 30 Days. It looks like a powerful film following on the coattails of the challenge-style documentary made famous by Morgan Spurlock’s Supersize Me.
The same crew responsible for Simply Raw also offer what they’re calling the “Ultimate Encyclopedia of The Raw Food Lifestyle,” a two-disc DVD set entitled Raw For Life. If you get them both as a package, the savings are decent, but I haven’t yet ponied up the cash. If anyone’s watched these, please let us know what you thought.
Speaking of the 30-day challenge theme, I watched the humorous Super High Me a few weeks ago. Funny movie! But also with serious political and cognitive liberty messages. The closing scene was especially poignant.
